Announcement

Summary
Arrakis V1 (formerly G-UNI) and Arrakis V2 are deprecated.
As of June 15th. 2026, Spacing Guild GmbH has renounced all privileged on-chain roles on both protocols, by setting ownership of each such role to the zero address (0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000000). Neither protocol is maintained, supported, or monitored by Spacing Guild GmbH or any affiliated entity. Users with remaining positions in V1 or V2 should withdraw or migrate to Arrakis V3.
Background
Arrakis V1 launched in 2021 as G-UNI, a tokenized concentrated-liquidity wrapper for Uniswap V3. Arrakis V2 followed in 2022, introducing multi-position vaults to run more sophisticated liquidity management strategies on Uniswap V3. Both protocols served their purpose during an earlier phase of on-chain liquidity management, securing over $1 billion in TVL at its peak.
Arrakis V3 ("Arrakis Modular") is the current generation of the Arrakis protocol, which Spacing Guild GmbH has developed and helps its customers use to optimize their on-chain liquidity. Like its predecessors, V3 is a non-custodial protocol that customers operate to manage their own liquidity, with support for deployments across multiple DEXs including Uniswap V4, Aerodrome, PancakeSwap, and others.
We previously communicated the deprecation of V1 and V2 to integrators and users through direct outreach and provided migration support to Arrakis V3. The majority of active users have completed that migration.
What Has Changed
To formalize the deprecated status of V1 and V2 and to remove any residual ability for Spacing Guild GmbH to act on these protocols, Spacing Guild GmbH has executed on-chain transactions renouncing all privileged roles held by Spacing Guild GmbH or any affiliated address, by setting ownership of each such role to the zero address (0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000000). These actions affect, without limitation:
All upgrade authority over V1 and V2 contracts;
All privileged rights associated with acting as a manager or executor on any V1 or V2 contract;
All rights to assign, replace, or remove any executor, manager, operator, or equivalent role on V1 and V2;
All other administrative or privileged permissions previously held in connection with V1 and V2.
The V1 and V2 contracts remain on-chain as deployed and operate without any party able to alter, pause, upgrade, configure, or otherwise manage them. Spacing Guild GmbH has no remaining technical ability to take action on V1 or V2. In addition, Spacing Guild GmbH previously deprecated and shut down the backend services and hosted user interfaces that it had operated to support Arrakis V1 and V2. To withdraw any remaining liquidity from V1 or V2 vaults, users will need to interact with the smart contracts directly via a block explorer such as Etherscan, or via any third-party interface that still integrates with the V1 or V2 contracts.
What This Means for Remaining Users
If you still hold positions in Arrakis V1 or Arrakis V2:
The protocols are unmaintained. No bug fixes, security patches, upgrades, or operational interventions can or will be made by Spacing Guild GmbH, any affiliated party, or anyone else.
There is no support. Spacing Guild GmbH does not provide user support, monitoring, incident response, or compensation in connection with V1 or V2.
Use is entirely at your own risk. Continued use of, or exposure to, V1 or V2 is undertaken solely at the user's discretion and risk.
Withdraw. We recommend that remaining users withdraw any positions still held in V1 or V2 vaults directly from the relevant smart contracts.
Do not deploy new vaults or add liquidity. Spacing Guild GmbH strongly discourages users from deploying any new V1 or V2 vaults or from depositing any additional liquidity into existing V1 or V2 vaults, and provides no support or assistance in connection with any such activity.
